Rent's due Friday and you've got four dollars. Brokedonalds is hiring. Take orders, grill and flip burgers, run the fryers, pour sodas, bus tables, and earn enough in tips to keep your apartment.
How to play
VR (Meta Quest): left stick walks, right stick turns. Reach out and squeeze grip or trigger to grab. Let go over a station to put things there. Tap the register and bells with your hand. Turn a patty over in your hand to flip it. Your wristwatch shows the orders.
Screen: WASD to walk, mouse to look, Shift to hurry. Click to grab, use or put down. F flips a patty, Q drops what you're holding, H turns the helper icons on or off.
Orders: someone at the front? Tap the register. Tickets print above the register and the burger island.
Burgers: take a raw patty from the drawer, grill it, and flip it after about 12 s. Build it on a wrapper: heel, patty, toppings, then crown. It wraps itself.
Fries & nuggets: take a basket off the hook, dip it in the frozen well, and drop it in the oil. At the beep, dump it into the holding bin and scoop with an empty carton or box. Fries go stale!
Drinks: set a cup under a nozzle, then press it into the lid stack (or take a lid and put it on).
Ice cream: the machine on the front counter. Cone under the left spout, shake cup under the right.
Drive-thru: cars order at the speaker outside; the ticket prints. Put their tray on the window shelf by the drinks.
Spills: grab the mop by the sink and mop them up (they slow you down). The health inspector notices!
Every shift has two challenges (bottom left) for bonus cash. Some customers are regulars, tourists, big spenders, indecisive… or want the manager.
Serve: load the food onto a tray. Click the tray to pick it up, then click a waiting customer to hand it over (in VR, let go of it next to them). Or leave it on a pickup spot and ring that spot's bell. Right-click (or R) takes one item off a tray. Bus dirty tables, and restock from the walk-in cooler.
